Property Listing Guidelines

When creating your property listing, it is important to follow some simple guidelines to get the most out of your listing.

Try to use a good descriptive title and sub title for your listing. Where it says title and sub title, do not put Mr or Mrs for the title and your surname for the sub title. The title and sub title fields are there to enable you describe your listing for the benefit of the search engines. The more descriptive your title and sub title are, the better your listing will be found in search engine results. Dont just put villa in Spain for example. Make a nice descriptive title and sub title that is unique to your property. There may be 1000s of people looking for a Villa in Spain, but the idea is to find the people who want to buy or rent your villa. They may have specific requirements about the location or the style, or bedrooms, swimming pool etc. The more descriptive your title and sub title are the more targeted the visitors will be, and the greater your chance of an enquiry.

Always add pictures to your listing. Research has shown that listings that have pictures, receive almost 3 times more enquiries than listings that dont. It is worth taking the time to list your pictures, to dramatically increase your chances of getting an enquiry.

Write a comprehensive description about your property. The longer your property description is, the more enquiries you will receive.
